What's Wrong with the New Lectionary? Why Is the Old One Better?

In this Episode 196 of Reconquest, Br. Andre Marie interviews Dr. Kwasniewski about his provocative claim -- argued in many articles and from many angles -- that the revised lectionary for the Novus Ordo Mass is not the great triumph that many assume it to be, but one of the worst outcomes of the liturgical reform. It is liturgically deracinated and pedagogically unsuitable; it creates the impression of comprehensiveness while slyly leaving out difficult aspects of the message of the Word of God; it omits classic readings that were read in the Western Church for over a millennium; it greatly amplifies the verbosity and homogeneity of the Novus Ordo; and it fails to observe the principle of integrity between all parts of the Mass in their orientation to the Eucharistic Lord and His court of saints.
