Why the ‘Reform of the Reform’ Is Doomed

In this episode 227 of Reconquest with Br. Andre Marie, Dr. Kwasniewski speaks about the reasons why a "reform of the reform" -- that is, a rehabilitation of the Novus Ordo under some presumably Ratzingerian future pope, beginning meanwhile on the ground with "mutual enrichment" from the old Mass -- is not only not going to work, but should not be attempted for spiritual and theological reasons. The solution is not to tweak the innovation but to retire it and let the age-old liturgy of the Roman Church occupy its rightful place.
